‘Unbelievably quick’ is how 1st MTA describes the new Kitagawa RK200 rotary table. The NC unit indexes through 90 degrees in 0.31 sec and achieves a maximum speed of 100 rpm.
A maintenance-free roller gear cam reducer, rather than traditional gear sets, decreases the motor rpm to the table’s rotational speed. This improves positioning accuracy, load capacity and efficiency while reducing heat generation, even under continuous operation.
RK200 has a 114 mm diameter table with a centre height of 150 mm, 70 mm diameter through-hole, 240 and 108 Nm instantaneous and continuous holding torques respectively, and a maximum table load of 60 kg.
New rotary table control from Kitagawa
A new control for Kitagawa rotary tables has been developed by the manufacturer that maximises precision, reduces Takt time and offers additional mechanical functions.
The innovative Quinte control has been designed as an option for the RK200 rotary table to give users the flexibility of independent control and provide an alternative to the traditional and occasionally limited integrated methods.
Set to supersede Kitagawa’s powerful MAC mini control, Quinte does not require a dongle, provides accurate clamping force and has trouble-free laptop connectivity. Further information will follow.
The full range of Kitagawa Rotary Tables are available from 1st MTA. If you have any questions or queries about the products mentioned in this article, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 0800 783 0510 or enquiries@1mta.com.
