To repair a system 5 locating hole thread, you must first remove the red ejector bushing to expose the hole. Then carefully remove the coiled insert, trying not to damage the machined threads. If the threads are not damaged replace the insert with the appropriate size shown in the table below. If you do not have an installation tool, you can either purchase one independently or purchase the entire repair kit.
If the thread is damaged, purchase a Solid insert either directly or with the product number provided below, drill and tap the hole with the appropriate tools specified on the second page of this form and Turn the threaded insert home flush with screwdriver, bolt and jam nut, or specific coil drive tool.
