My XT is set at 118 degrees on the alignment, the sharpening fixture and the split point port and my drill point is not correct, why?
The 118° and the 135° laser etched numbers on the Alignment Port and the Split Point Port are independent settings of each other and of the actual Point Angle setting. These numbers represent a point of reference. You can adjust these ports in any setting that will produce acceptable drill geometry.
