Why would I use TalonGrip Systems jaws instead of the regular jaws that came with my vise?
Regular jaws are smooth and will not hold the part as well while machining aggressively unless much more than .060” of material is clamped in the vise. TalonGrip Systems Jaw grips actually bite into the material to prevent the material from being so easily pulled out of the vise when aggressive speeds and feeds are used.
